Regional Resource and Referral Specialists
The Ohio Child Care Resource and Referral Association members are seven private non-profit R&R agencies serving as 12 Service Delivery Areas (SDA) through Ohio’s 88 counties. The R&R’s will work with public and private agencies and the assign Regional Training Center within their SDA to collaborate on workforce recruitment and retention strategies increasing the capacity of the children’s services workforce.
It Takes 100% Heart Ohio is supported through statewide resource and referral agencies of R&R specialist coordinated by OCCRRA. Specialist can assist private and public foster care agencies with soft background checks, financial stability, mental health assessment, and physical capability to asses the viability of a perspective resource home. The R&R’s are able to refer viable resource homes to the appropriate RTC or Private Agencies Preservice Training curriculum.
